I have wanted to ask the man to make it exclusive, but i refrained because it made me feel less as a woman,so no, i wouldn't ask a man to marry me, it would feel out of order.
I feel a woman has the right, to do wantever she wants to do. But, personally and biblically speaking I'd like to keep it ole' fashion myself. Me getting down on that one knee, is what I'd love to do one day. That's if I even decide to get married...lol
It is good to know we still have some old fashion men out here
Me personally I would like to be asked. Now have I thought about asking yes. But at the end of the day I would like to him to ask my parents for my hand in marriage then ask me.
I absolutely would not. When a man findeth a wife he findeth a good thing and attaineth favor of the Lord, I would only feel obligated to ask a man to marry me if I did not know for myself that I was a good thing or impatient. If he is the one that God has sent my way he will recognize his place in my life and mine in his. This is one role reversal I personally disagree with. And if he asked I must receive confirmation before or after from God for myself before he gets a yes. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart lean not to thy own understanding in all thy ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. After all marriage is the st 2nd most important relational decision we make in life that can lead to a lifetime of generational curses or blessings.
This group will have a question and answer platform. We would love to hear from you. How can you have a productive relationship.
What works for you and your mate?
