Flower Mound, TX (ChristianPRgroup) - High blood pressure, diabetes, skin and digestive issues, these are all food related, but according to Dr. Steven B. DavidSon people of faith have an extraordinary advantage. Dr. DavidSon, the nation's torch-bearing Christ-based Counselor launched the Christ-based Weight Management program with 150 participants from Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas four years ago. Concerning weight loss, participants lost an average of 9 pounds in seven days. The male and female record holders lost 22 and 16 pounds respectively in one week. A year later, several participants lost forty or more pounds. Participants also reveal that the health advantages are undeniable including enhancements in facial appearance, digestive improvements, and reduction or elimination of other health issues. Dr. DavidSon uses his Christ-based Counseling model to establish the Christ-based Weight Management truths as daily principles in the lives of participants.

He wrote the book, Christ-based Weight Management, and refers to the program as the spiritual equivalent of the Gastric Bypass. In fact, DavidSon shares that a number of believers have employed the principles in the program before ultimately making the decision for surgery.

You can participate in the program. Free-weekly video instructional sessions are scheduled beginning Sunday, December 13 for three consecutive weeks on the christbasedcounseling.org web site.
